SKY RIDGE MASTER PLAN

Perron Group

Sky Ridge is a legacy project, master planned by the partners of Metrocology while with DPZPacific. The Perron Group continued the planning relationship under Metrocology, finishing the documentation and designs necessary for the Project’s final consent approvals from State Government. For more information on earlier master planning, go to demetri.baches.com.

Originally called Pacific View Estate site is a 342-hectare parcel of land which sits between Worongary and Highland Park. The land stretches more than 2km from the M1 to the highland ridge line. The property is significant for the Gold Coast as it is one of the last remaining developable broad hectare land parcels in the region under single ownership. Pacific View Estate has been earmarked as a site which is pivotal to the Gold Coast’s future growth.

The Master Plan calls for 3,500 dwellings and up to 10,000 residents, a neighborhood centre with a convenience market, specialty stores, health services, shops and restaurants, recreational spaces interconnected by pedestrian pathways; and a ‘green corridor’ which unlocks creek beds and other natural features for the community to enjoy. The centre also functions as a TOD, with a transit station on the new Merrimac Railway, connecting Sky Ridge to the large Gold Coast Region.
