The Town of Cramerton retained Metrocology to prepare a Master Plan to show redevelopment opportunities and improved access to the South Fork River which passes alongside downtown. The Master Plan was part of the overall planning of selected sites within the Town to illustrate how legacy Mill Properties and adjoining mill housing neighborhoods could be retrofitted and/or preserved by employing form-based code principles to a proposed zoning re-write.

Metrocology prepared the plan within the context of the Build a Better Blvd Corridor Master Plan and the Wilkinson South Town Center Master Plan, folding in the findings of each to inform the preparation of the open space, walkable network, road improvements, potential transit station, and targeted property purchases to provide for civic amenities in and adjacent to downtown.
