Metrocology was retained by Destination by Design to prepare several smallarea plans for the Town of Stallings. Stallings is a rapidly growing suburbancommunity southeast of Charlotte, spreading along the I-485 outerbelt at theinterchange with HWY 74.

The Town wanted to begin establishing development nodes that would evolve over time into more walkable, mixed-use centers to provide identity and sense of place. Three locations where selected. Metrocology completed the master plans in conjunction with Destination by Design’s preparation of a community wide Recreation and Greenway Plan called Connect Stallings. The master plans identified locations for parks and trails which were weaved together into a green network across the entire municipality.
